I am completely honoured to hear that a class at Rozelle Public School has been named after me. The class is known as “Year 3 Anu” … So Deadly! I believe this year Rozelle Public School has named all of their classes after Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians prominent in the fields of politics and activism, the arts and sport. This focus is part of their commitment to increasing knowledge and understanding of the histories, cultures and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Peoples of Australia.
